- Holiday Salad

-
- Qty Measurement Preparation Ingredient
- --- ----------- ----------- ----------
- 1 Cup Miracle Whip S.Dressing
- 2 Cans Tomato Soup
- 11 oz Cream Cheese
- 1 pkg Unflavored Gelatin
- 1 16 oz can Le Seur Green Peas
- 4 Chopped Green Onions
- 2 T. Vinegar
- 1 CUP CHOPPED CELERY
- 3/4 CUP WATER
-
-
-
-
-
-
- Heat soup and cheese slowly until cheese is dissolved. Cool.
- Add gelatin to the 3/4 Cup water, mix well, then add celery, peas, onions
- and vinegar. Mix thoroughly with the soup and cheese mixture and then add
- Miracle Whip and stir until color is consistent. Pour into serving
- dish and chill overnight.
-
-
- Some hints, heat the cream cheese in the microwave until very soft, then
- stir in the soup until well blended. Mix the rest of the ingredients
- quickly because the gelatin will set. This will fit nicely in a square 10
- by 10 or 12 by 12 inch dish. Other veggies can be added, but cut down
- on the peas if adding others. I've used canned corn and/or canned
- carrots and chopped green pepper.
